Odyssey Series

Culturally and artistic diversity is the inspiration behind the Victoria Symphony’s Odyssey Series. This series pushes the boundaries of what orchestral music can be, makes classical music more accessible to a broader audience and evolves the perception of what a Symphony can perform. As the visionary behind the series, Tania Miller comments, “The main premise of Odyssey is to use contemporary repertoire from the 20th and 21st century and connect it to other art forms such as film, visual art, dance or screen image to create a series that is unique and relevant to popular culture”.
